This drawing depicts legendary Ohio State Buckeye Football Coach Woody Hayes. Hayes compiled a career record of 238 wins, 72 losses, and 10 ties. After coaching at Denison and Miami (OH), Hayes came to Ohio State in 1951 where during his 28 seasons as the head coach, Hayes' teams won five national championships captured 13 Big Ten Conference titles. In the final decade of his career Hayes faced off in a fierce rivalry against the Michigan Wolverines coached by Bo Schembechler, a former player under and assistant coach to Hayes, dubbed "The Ten Year War" Despite his great achievements at Ohio State, Hayes's coaching career ended ignominiously when he was dismissed from his position as head coach after punching Clemson nose guard Charlie Bauman for intercepting an Ohio State pass with two minutes left on the clock in the 1978 Gator Bowl.

I have been drawing as long as I can remember and I have always had a passion for drawing sports figures. Most of my art work has been created using markers and colored pencils. Recently I have begun to experiment with paring images of multiple people to create a scene that never actually occured in time, but would've been cool to witness. I also enjoy taking photos of interesting landmarks and places from where I grew up.
